TV Guide talks to Eric Kripke about Season 3 of Supernatural and the concerns of the fans at the addition of not 1, but 2, new female characters. While fans remain concerned, Kripke attempts to quell fears by reassuring TV Guide that the new women are not intended love interested and merely additional characters to expand the ever-growing world of Supernatural. If any love interests do come into play it will be after much consideration and with the good wishes of Kripke and fans alike.

Lauren Cohan will be joining Katie Cassidy as a second female addition to Season 3 of Supernatural. Cohan will be playing Bela, a mercenary who avoids the more brute job of Hunters and instead sees the supernatural world as a money-maker. Cassidy's character, Ruby, is something that resembles a female Gordon - tough as nails and a little on the crazy side without Dean & Sam's moral compass.

Supernatural season 2 will be available from 5 p.m. on Thursday in Australia as Aussie terrestrial web Network Ten links up with Warner Bros. New episodes will be available starting midnight on the night of broadcast.
